Apply to be the next student trustee and make a difference for Indiana University, for yourself, and for your fellow students.

The Board of Trustees is responsible for the budget, values, and long-term direction of the university. The student trustee is a fully vested member of the board with all rights, responsibilities, and privileges accorded to all trustees. The student trustee participates in at least six board meetings a year, serves on board committees, and takes part in various university functions and ceremonies. Serving as a trustee can transform your life and keep IU on a trajectory of growth and prosperity.

All Indiana University students—both undergraduate and graduate—on all campuses are eligible to apply for appointment to the board, provided they will maintain full-time student status during their entire two-year tenure.
