Internship Opportunity
The internship is organized so that all interns get a glimpse into every aspect of the radio stations. The interns are on a rotating schedule of work in sales, promotions, production and web design. Interns get the chance to, among other things, write and record radio commercials, update the station’s website, and attend on-location broadcasts and interact with the community. Interns are asked to devote 10 hours a week to the internship, excluding outside events. This is an unpaid internship and can be used for class credit.
The 2012 Spring AMP Internship Program will run from Thursday, January 12th to Friday, May 5th. Please complete the attached application and submit with a copy of your resume by Wednesday, November 23rd to intern@wbwb.com. Selected applicants will attend an interview on Wednesday, November 30th, times are to be determined, and from there, five to eight interviewees will be selected as the spring 2012 interns. The spring intern orientation will be on Thursday, January 12th. If you think that an internship in radio is right for you please contact intern@wbwb.com.
