Brief Description of Company/Organization: MainLine Broadcasting is a company that owns several of the most prominent radio stations in Louisville, Kentucky. The one in particular I would be working for is WDJX, Louisville's #1 station for Top 40 music. I would be working as the morning show intern, and this show I will be a part of is actually the second most listened to morning program in Louisville. MainLine has brought several celebrities to the area and put on countless concerts to promote their radio stations. Basically, it is THE broadcasting company of Louisville.
Brief Description of Responsibilities: Intern duties include but are not limited to: participating in producing and performing a daily morning radio show, booking guests, researching topics to discuss, helping with planning promotions, preparing for live remote broadcasts, editing audio and video for the website, among other duties.

The Aquarium features 11,000 aquatic creature, 16 themed galleries, 60 exhibits and one million gallons of water. Operations, marketing, administration, husbandry, and engineering departments work closely together to ensure the education of guests and quality care of the animals.
Description of Duties: Assist in media and community relations, provide support to the PR staff as they prepare for a new summer shark exhibit, maintain the donation program and help compile a media report on a weekly and monthly basis, write press releases, news magazine stories, and radio spots, make pitch and follow-up media calls, provide support to the education and sales staffs.
