What: THE ACTOR, DIRECTOR, AND WRITER
When: Wednesday January 30, 2008 - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Whittenberger Auditorium in the Indiana Memorial Union

Interested in theater production, acting, directing, music, scriptwriting,
radio/television/ film, or Spiderman? Hear stage director Randy White, actor Rob
Johansen, and playwright Glen Berger discuss their artistic career paths and current
projects. Glen Berger is writing the script for Spiderman: The Musical with a musical score by Bono of U2 which is heading to Broadway in 2008 and sure to be a smash hit! Get advice from these experienced and successful professionals in the Arts. You'll have a chance to meet them in person at a reception with food and drink directly following the program in the Georgian Room.

The Diversity in Communications event is an exciting opportunity for diverse sophomores, juniors , and seniors. This program will give students who are considering a career in advertising, journalism or public relations an opportunity to spend the day visiting two firms in Chicago's vibrant communications district. The day will begin with breakfast and an opening presentation, followed by a morning site visit. The group will reconvene for lunch and then participate in an afternoon site visit. The day will conclude with a closing reception where students will have the opportunity to network with company representatives as well as each other. Please note, this event is walking intensive.
