HPER R250 Introduction to Equine Assisted Activities

Space is open for the Fall 2009 semester!!

No horse experience is necessary!

The class meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:45 - 7:15 PM. Students participate in 3/4 hours per week of lab/volunteer experience time at People and Animal Learning Services, Inc. (PALS) which is individually arranged with class instructor but must be during a PALS Volunteer shift.

This class is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the therapeutic benefits of equine assisted activities. The class is an overview of the history, organization, principals and procedures in equine assisted activities programs for persons with disabilities and at-risk youth!
