Brief Description of Company or Organization: Hoosierland Volleyball Club is a Non-Profit Organization that provides training and development to female volleyball athletes. Practice and competition will be the basis of development but will also include strength training classes such as polymetrics or muscle development. From the HVC mission statement, “The club was founded to provide and intense learning environment for Southern Indiana’s most talented athletes. The program focuses on the development of the athlete as a player and a person. Athletes will learn about the game of volleyball as well as the education and commitment required to reach and maintain a high level of success.”

Brief Description of Responsibilities: Expected to create practice plans that are tailored to teams’ needs and abilities. Using verbal and non-verbal communication to critique, strengthen, and motivate players. Must correspond with players and parents about practices, tournaments, and other team functions. Be a positive role model and aim to influence students to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Best Liked: Enjoyed working with players and developing inter-personal team skills.

Least Liked: Sometimes players had personal problems that were troubling to navigate.
