Brief Description of Company or Organization: Girls, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has been helping girls see their true self for the last 30 years in the Bloomington area. The programs emphasis on building self-esteem, making healthy choices, developing a positive self-image, and enhancing the quality of their relationships with others and our community. This organization is dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. The vision at Girls Inc. is to empower girls and show them that they can be and do anything when they put their hearts to it.
Description of Duties: Planned, facilitated, and evaluated “Commit to be Fit” local program for our members and their families. Also worked with an IU class to help with evaluation. Also planned and facilitated teen program in after school environment.

Best Liked: Getting to know girls associated with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, learning how to best incorporate everyone’s interests into an activity
Least Liked: Personally, didn’t enjoy working with teens.
