Brief Description of Company or Organization: Retail store located right outside New York City in Brooklyn, NY as well as Melon Two, located in Marlboro, New Jersey. Both stores specialize in selling the leading women’s sports wear and apparel of today’s fashion world.
Description of Duties: Working as an assist and under the owner and public relations director, viewing look books sent by clothing companies to pull out the merchandise to sell in stores, going to NYC’s garment district showrooms to meet the distributors and get a first hand look at the on goings of buying within actual showrooms, working as sales representative in the store, answering phones, compiling and organizing inventory, selecting which clothing will be displayed
