Brief Description of Company or Organization: WXRT-FM “Chicago’s Finest Rock” is a radio station based out of Chicago, IL.
Description of Duties: Representing WXRT in a public relations capacity at station events, including street festivals, XRT concerts, broadcasts, sales promotions etc.
*Organizing, prepaparing, coordinating, and executing promotional events for WXRT
*Maintaining the XRT VIP listener program both on-site at events and in the office
*Interacting with listeners on a day-to-day basis whether it be fulfilling contest prizes, answering questions, etc.
*Brainstorming new ideas for the radio station, it’s cliuents, and advertisers
*Monitoring the inventory of station promotional items such as banners, t-shirts, stickers, hats, hoodies, etc.
