Career opportunities for graduating seniors with U.S. PIRG

U.S. PIRG is a nation-wide network of state-based public interest advocacy groups. This year we are hiring over 100 graduating college students to determine where this country is going; to reform our broken health care system; to make college more affordable; to work for more and better public transportation options; and make an impact on many other public interest issues. You may be familiar with the INPIRG chapter at Indiana University (www.inpirg.org).

I am emailing to ask for your help in identifying graduating seniors who might be interested in career opportunities with our organization.

You can read more about our jobs here: www.uspirg.org/jobs

I got my start with U.S. PIRG as a campus organizer with Ohio PIRG. Recent graduates from Indiana University include Josh Kline ‘09, campus organizer with NJPIRG.

I am making a visit to campus on the evening of Oct 27 to run an information session and then will be conducting interviews on campus on Oct 28. Students can sign up through the career services section. I would also appreciate your help in spreading the word about our interviews. We’ve received help from other faculty and student leaders by forwarding our job announcement on listservs, posting our job posting on department bulletin boards, and making suggestions of qualified candidates. Please let me know if you would be willing to help in any of these ways.

Thanks in advance for your support!
