Hello CMCL majors and minors!
Would you like to find a great internship for next summer, but are you unsure about how and where to begin your internship search? CMCL’s Internship Information Session is a great place to start!
WHAT: Internship Information Session for CMCL majors and minors
WHEN: Wednesday, November 11th
5:00pm-6:30pm (feel free to come late or leave early as your schedule allows!)
WHERE: Career Development Center (625 N. Jordan Ave.)
At this session, Career Development Center (CDC) career counselors will be on hand to introduce you to the resources available at the CDC and to give you tips on how to make the most of career and internship fairs (including the Career Development Center’s own internship fair on January 27, 2010).
A panel of former CMCL interns and internship providers will also be present to answer your questions about the internship search and selection process. Former interns will describe their own experiences and provide suggestions and advice related to finding the right internship for you. The internship providers will talk about internships they have offered in the past. They will also describe what they look for in potential interns and provide insight from an employer’s standpoint.
I will also be present to answer any questions you may have about seeking academic credit for your internship through the Department of Communication and Culture. For more information about eligibility requirements and the application process, see
