LAMP Social Entrepreneurship Event

Event Title: "Doing Good While Doing Well: An Insight into Social Entrepreneurship"
Speaker: Heidi Kühn, Founder and Chairman of the Board, Roots of Peace

Social entrepreneur Heidi Kühn will speak about her not for profit humanitarian organization, Roots of Peace, which is dedicated to eradicating landmines worldwide and rehabilitating the land to make it productive once more. Through connections with Napa Valley vintners, ROP actively works in Croatia, Angola, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Cambodia to turn minefields into agricultural farm land. The United Nations, the U.S. State Department, and many other global dignitaries have recognized Kühn’s grounded vision of socially responsible entrepreneurship and support her quest to “plant the roots of peace on earth.”
