Brief Description of Company or Organization: FSN Ohio is the local affiliate for the Fox Sports Network, and deals with the broadcasting and promoting of major sporting and other related events (i.e.-on location pregame shows, etc_ throughout Ohio and surrounding cities in Indiana, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania. All aspects of the company are run out of the same office-the production, advertising, and public relations staff all work side by side.
Description of Duties: Assist the Communication Manager of FSM Ohio by pitching story ideas to regional newspapers and radio stations, and writing and distributing press releases. Support all administrative duties and help out with the implementation of community relations and/or promotional events. Work with the advertising sales staff, helping in organization, placement and writing of "squeeze back" elements and PowerPoint presentations. I will process sales orders and organize ad sales promotions.
