Purdue PRSSA Com-Day 2011

On behalf of the Purdue Chapter of PRSSA, we cordially invite you and your
students to our annual “Com Day” event. Our objectives this year are to 1)
provide an annual forum whereby students from a broad geographic region can
learn from communication professionals about current practices, trends, and
marketplace, and 2) allow students to interact with communication professionals
about their experiences and network with others in the field. In past years we
have hosted companies such as Eli Lilly, Fleishman-Hillard, U.S. Army, Hickman
& Associates, Cook Medical, MS&L group, Indianapolis Colts and many more. Some
speakers this year are from MediaPlug, MS&L Group, Eli Lilly, WTHR, and more.
We expect this year will be one of our best events yet!

This year’s Com Day events will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the
Purdue University campus. There will be several professional development
sessions in the morning (from approximately 9:00 am – 12:45 pm) which will
consist of guest speakers from a range of communication fields sharing their
knowledge, experience and advice. After the development sessions, a meet-and-
greet luncheon will be held at the Purdue Memorial Union West Faculty Lounge
from 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm, followed by a career exhibition (also in the Purdue
Memorial Union) from 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm.

Registration/check-in will begin at 8:30 am in the atrium of Rawls Hall. For a
campus map, please visit http://www.purdue.edu/campus_map/. Registration
