Western European Career Night

Tuesday, November 30th 6:30-8:30pm
Career Development Center – 625 N. Jordan Ave.

You are cordially invited to the 2010 Western European Career Night, a small panel discussion with professionals who work in careers that draw on their knowledge of the Western European languages and cultures! Panelists will share their experiences abroad, provide tips on how to maximize your time here at IU, offer strategies for students seeking international work, and discuss potential job openings. There will be time set aside to network with the panelists as well as other students with similar goals and interests. This night should be especially useful for students interested in international studies, area studies, languages, journalism, and other majors focused on global careers. Light regional refreshments will be served.

This year, we are pleased to welcome Kathy Johnson from the U.S. Department of State as the keynote speaker. She is currently serving a tour of duty as Midwest Diplomat in Residence and has completed two tours in Western Europe.

We ask that students please RSVP through their myIUcareers account, accessible at http://www.indiana.edu/~career/.
