Brief Description of Company or Organization: DRIS is a nonprofit agency that provides closed circuit radio broadcasting to citizens of Southeat Michigan who have lost ability to read print. The service is free, but requires a single frequency radio tuner. More than 1800 homes subscribe to the service.

Description of Duties: producing and reading 1-2 five minute daily news updates on air, write, record, and arrange public service announcements, station ID's and spots, assist DRIS director in writing and editing dundreaising letters to local coporations and foundations, run broadcast studio, read newspapers and other publications verbatim when clunteer readers cannot make their shifts.
