Brief Description of Company or Organization: the Indiana University Alumni Association is an organization dedicated to the success of Indiana University. through its various programs and services, the IU Alumni Association works to serve the university, as well as its alumni and friends. By working to provide opportunities to keep alumni and friends connected to their alma mater, the IU Alumni Association helps to ensure lifetime success of the institution it serves.
Description of Duties: Market events through the development of print materials, publications, and promotional items, mass distribution of fliers and brochures, and approaching corporations/organizations for team involvement; follow up with current or prospective event participants through written, verbal, and virtual communication mediums; develop and maintain databases for event information, interest, and registration, maintain communication between various constituent alumni groups by assisting with newsletter mailings, membership welcoming packets, and the planning and attendance of meetings and receptions; maintain the budgets of constituent alumni groups and events; serve as primary operations contact for various events happening at the DeVault Alumni Center; perform general clerical duties.
