Brief Description of Company or Organization: Meadowood Retirement Community is a place where elders can live. They have a nursing home, assisted living, and also apartments for elders who want to be in a community, but are still able to live on their own and cook for themselves. They plan numerous activities for the community members each month, for dinners to outings to Indianapolis, to card games. They try to get the members involved with a lot of things each month to meet everyone and feel at home.
Description of Duties: Work with the activities coordinator to help her with planning activities for the community members. She puts out fliers, makes a calendar each month to let the members know about what is coming up, and sets up and gets ready for the events.
