BIG TEN CONFERENCE CAREER EXPO
Friday, March 11, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Union Station, Indianapolis, Indiana

The Big Ten Conference Career Expo is a great place to look for a job or internship or find a new opportunity if you are experienced. It is open exclusively to students and alumni of the 11 Big Ten universities. This Career Fair is not like all the others - In a survey following the 2010 event, 80% of the employers said they were going to contact students and alumni for job openings that they met at the Expo!The Expo is held in conjunction with the Men's Big Ten Basketball Tournament.

* Free to attend!
* Open only to Big Ten students and alumni.
* Companies come to hire for internships, full-time employment for recent college grads and positions for those alumni looking to make a career change.
* Two breakout sessions will be held - "Careers in Sports" and "New Media in the Workplace - Careers and Opportunities"
* Cyber Cafe at Expo to update and print resumes or meet friends. On site consultants available to review resumes and coach candidates on the spot.
* Giveaways throughout the day!
* Business casual attire for participants and employers.
* Special student ticket rate for Big Ten Basketball Tournament available through your university ticket office (must be a current student).

SCIENCE AND RESEARCH NETWORKING NIGHT
Tuesday, March 22, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Chemistry Building Room 122

Please join IU Alumni and career professionals in diverse careers within science and research for an evening of networking. Panelists will discuss their career paths, organizational opportunities, and provide advice for students entering the world-of-work. Each event will also include an introduction to networking, light refreshments, and the opportunity to engage with the panelists. The Networking Night Series is a collaboration between the IU Career Development Center and the IU Student Alumni Association.

APPOINTMENTS FOR STUDENTS SEEKING FEDERAL EMPLOYMENT

The Partnership for Public Service is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works to revitalize our federal government by inspiring a new generation to serve and transform the way government works. Amy Bush, the Federal Service Student Ambassador for Indiana University, will hold office hours at the Career Development Center (625 N. Jordan Ave.) throughout the spring semester to assist students in finding internships and full-time jobs with the federal government.
