Nigerian Novelist and Journalist
Okey Ndibe is the author of the novels Arrows of Rain and Foreign Gods, Inc (forthcoming), and also writes a weekly column in the Sun of Nigeria.
Dr. Ndibe has been celebrated for both his fiction and journalism. Arrows of Rain was praised by many critics and authors, including Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka. In 2001 Dr. Ndibe was awarded the Best Opinion Essay in an American Newspaper by the Association of Opinion Page Editors.
Currently a professor of fiction and African Literature at Trinity College in Hartford, CT, Dr. Ndibe was invited to speak at IU by the Foster International LLC.
