Brief Description of Company/Organization: CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. They are a non-profit organization that acts as the "voice" for children in court. These cases involve children that have been referred by social services, and are undergoing trials with their family members. CASA acts in the best favor of the child, when often, no one else (including the child's parents) is looking out for them.
Brief Description of Responsibilities: Each summer CASA has an annual fundraiser, the Playhouse Raffle, I will be assisting in promotion and planning of this event, as well as other fundraising activities. I will assist with general office work. I will assist with the webpage layout, and create a file system to keep track of volunteer records. I will also be assisting in documentation during and for court cases.
