Kenyan documentary filmmaker Patrick Mureithi will screen Icyizere: hope, a film about trauma, reconciliation and forgiveness 15 years after the 1994 Rwandan genocide. It focuses on a 3-day gathering of 10 survivors and 10 perpetrators of the genocide as they learn about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and participate in a series of group exercises that help to build trust.
Free tickets to the film must be picked up at the IU Auditorium box office prior to the film.
