The Human Resources Association has two wonderful opportunities that we would like to share with
everyone. The first will be on March 7, 2012 at 7:00pm in BU 219. The Human Resources Association will
have Heather Wilson as a guest speaker. Heather is an accomplished attorney in Indianapolis and her
focus is in Employment Law. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the legal profession as well
as hear about real life cases from a practicing attorney. Heather is full of energy and is very excited to
come speak to students about her career and how our future careers and hers might intertwine.
The Second event that we are proud to announce is that we will be having Karl Aldrich as a guest
speaker on March 21, 2012 at 7:00pm in BU 109. Karl is a well-known human resource practitioner
based out of Indianapolis. He has spoken at local, state, and national conferences and is seen as one
of the leading minds in the field of Human Resources. He is joining us to talk about new changes in
workforce and how that will affect college students. He is also going to talk about the latest trends in
employment and focus on how we can be ahead of people who might have more experience than us
when we first enter the work force.
Both of these events are open to anyone who is interested in attending. They are a great chance to not
only learn some new things about the current work environment and different professions but they are
also a place where students can network with well-known professional in their respected field. Please
feel free to join us on one or both nights The Human Resource Association would love it to see people
from all different background and majors attend these wonderful opportunities.
