VOLUNTEERING WITH HOOSIER HILLS FOOD BANK

The food bank is currently trying to catch up with the food and hunger demands of society. Unfortunately our food supply is low! If any person or group would like to borrow some food barrels from us and start a collection to donate, it would be greatly appreciated. We also have bags that can be distributed and collected for your use if you would like to promote your own food drive. We have plenty of volunteer opportunities for those who need the hours or feel the need to give back.

-Our Meal Share Program could use a group every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:00, to repackage the food we collect from local restaurants and cafeterias.

-Our Gardening and Gleaning Program could use groups to go out and harvest or weed around the plants.

If anyone would like to volunteer or have a group interested in volunteering please let me know. Any help we can get would be greatly appreciated.
