SLST-S305 (3 credits): Teaching
Second/Foreign Languages to Adults
Students will survey methods and
techniques for teaching second/foreign languages to adults. Teacher and learner
goals, social and cultural settings, and individual learner differences will be
related to teaching practices.
Prerequisite: At least two years of
second/foreign language study (not necessarily at the college level).
This class would be great for any student hoping to become a
language instructor. The class counts towards the minor in SLST.
