1. Save the Date! Fall Career and Internship Fair
Wednesday, September 19, 2-4 p.m., 4-7 p.m.
Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse, Indoor Track Facility - 17th
Street
This fair gives IU students from a variety of liberal
arts majors the opportunity to connect with organizations recruiting
entry-level positions and/or internships. All majors are welcome to attend.
The first two hours of the fair (from 2-4 p.m.) are open
to the students from the following Scholarship Programs at IUB:
- The Wells Scholars Program
- The Science, Technology, & Research Scholars
(STARS)
- The Hudson and Holland Scholars Program
- The Liberal Arts & Management Program (LAMP)
- The Hutton Honors College
- The Cox Scholars
- Phi Beta Kappa
- IU's Veteran population
The fair will be open to the general student population
from 4-7 p.m.

3. Career Fair Shuttle Bus
There will be a special Career Fair Shuttle Bus taking
students to the Fall Career and Internship Fair. Pickups will be in two spots -
in front of the Indiana Memorial Union at the 7th and Woodlawn stop and another
on Jordan Ave. across from the Career Development Center on the IU Health
Center side of Jordan. The buses will drop students off outside of the
Gladstein Fieldhouse and return to the Indiana Memorial Union.
These buses will run every 15 minutes from 1:30 -7:15
p.m.

14. Get Academic Credit for your Internship! Apply for
ASCS-Q398, W498, or W499
Everyone knows that internships can be stellar additions
to your resume. You can also reflect your internship experience on your
transcript by taking one of the Career Development Center's Internship Courses.
ASCS Q398 provides up to 3 academic credits for your
internship, depending on the number of hours you will be working.
ASCS W498 and W499 are non-credit options which will
reflect your work experience on your transcript and allow you to maintain your
half-time or full-time student status while you are doing your internship.
The fall application deadline for ASCS Q398/W498/W499 is
October 1st.
