Student Media Group was created to help university
students and local businesses. The planner was created to help students stay
organized and become more aware of the community around them while also
channeling more exposure for local businesses.
Brief Description of Responsibilities: As interns, students receive the opportunity to experience sales and marketing techniques by visiting local businesses face-to-face and selling advertising space in the business guide section of the planner to help customers promote their business. I am expected to perform effective communication skills and building strong relationships with local businesses to help them develop an effective advertising campaign in the planner for the year.
