This spring I'll be teaching a course for the
Global Village Living and Learning Center and I'm wondering if you would be
willing to help spread the word to any of your advisees that might be looking
for a spring course. The class is called: GLLC-G 210 Amazon Rhetoric:
Global Perspectives on Women and Power. For this class we have discussions
that unsettle gender norms through discussions of representations of women
from around the world in positions of power and conflict in action films,
politics, comics, social movements among other forms. This is a revised
version of the course I taught that for CMCL a few summers ago that students
really enjoyed, so it should be both interesting and a ton of fun.
