IU is one of the few places in the U.S. where students
have the opportunity to study Romanian, a Romance language with a Slavic
influence. A few highlights:
- Romance language, generally easier for native-English
speakers to learn -uses the same alphabet as English -Small classes, basically
ensuring personal attention AND the class can move with the needs and speed of
the students
