Course synopsis:
A
general introduction to the principles of screenwriting, covering structure,
character creation, visual storytelling, format, the writing of narrative
description, and dialogue.
The
objective of the course is to deepen each student’s conceptual understanding of
the craft of screenplay writing--and storytelling in general--and to put this
knowledge into practice, writing several short screenplays.
