Auditions & Crew Needed for Webseries!

AUDITIONS and Cleverly Crew Assistants Needed!

Sunday (9/20) & Monday (9/21) @7:30pm – 10:30pm in the telecom building next to the Wells library, rm TV245.

*Please come when your schedule allows, but we will have a brief overview/info session starting at 7:30, and refreshments will be provided while you wait for auditions.

A brand new, original series written by IU Telecom Alumni Sam Sher and John Quick is now casting several roles for the episodic webseries entitled Student Seven, produced under in affiliation with GameZombie.tv.

The story takes place in an alternate reality, college campus where each student carries a sword and honor is the highest value and needs to be defended at all costs.

The central characters are part of “Gamer’s Brigade”, a student group centered on the creation of an Internet game, but face opposition from fellow students, stodgy faculty members, and themselves.

The plot arcs over 12, 3-4 minute episodes. Each episode will have a 30 second fight scene choreographed by a professional movement specialist here on campus.

The series will be highly stylized with a live-action anime feel. (Think moving backgrounds and Eastern-influences.) The story and style is influenced by Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai". Each character has his/her own rich back-story developed, and we plan on doing a lot of focused character work.

Notes on the Auditions:
- Some characters are in all or many of the fight scenes, so if you have knowledge in an marital art forms we would LOVE to have you audition.
- You do not need to be a theatre or telecom major or have any previous acting experience to get involved. All backgrounds and areas of studies are welcome!
- You do not need to prepare a monologue, we will have you read from our scripts.
- At the auditions, we will ask you to write out your general availability for the rest of the semester, as this is the length of dedication this project requires.

Cleverly Crew Assistants:
If you’re a freshman or new to production in general and would like to start getting involved/learn more, this would be a wonderful opportunity for you to be a production assistant, assistant producer, and script supervisor, to name a few.

**If this is an opportunity you would be interested in but can not attend the auditions or would like to get more details,
shoot an email to Student Seven’s producer: Chelsey McKrill (chelsey.matrix@gamezombie.tv ).
