Union Board presents international film festival!

Union Board presents the Manhattan Short film festival as part of its weekly film series in the Whittenberger Auditorium. Screenings are Thursday-Saturday, Sept. 24-26 at 8 pm. Join us for the chance to be a part of a festival that spans across the world in one week!

The MANHATTAN SHORT film Festival is a festival with a mission to unite all seven continents via one film festival by 2011. In 2009 the Festival received 428 short film entries, from which it select 10 Films which are Finalists in the 2009 MANHATTAN SHORT. These 10 Short films will screen 532 times in 173 cities across 5 continents in 1 week. Audiences at each venue will be handed a voting card at each cinema and asked to vote for the ONE film that they feel should win. Votes will be sent to MANHATTAN SHORT headquarters in NYC where they will announce the winner on Tuesday September 29th in NYC.

The 10 finalists include short films from Australia, France, Israel, Italy, Mozambique, Spain, Sweden, UK, and USA.
