Brief Description of Company or Organization: Social Butterfly is a small, sophisticated wedding and event planning firm located in Bloomington, Indiana. They network with other creative, top-notch event professionals to create unique, sophisticated first-class events. Their mission is to inspire people with ideas and help create special days.
Description of Duties: During my internship experience I will perform an array of tasks and activities within the interpersonal communication field.; these will follow the mission and primary objectives of Social Butterfly. As a wedding planning organization I will first and for most help with the basic procedures that habitually take place in the preparation of an event. In addition I will assist in the desired expansion of Social Butterfly. In specific, I will assist in Social Butterfly’s conquest in transforming from a sole wedding planning organization to a more inclusive event planning organization. In order in doing so it will be my responsibility to help them develop and successfully complete events such as charity fund parties, cocktail parties, and random event parties that take place in- house. With the goal of expansion we will correspondingly publicize the firm threw TV commercials, media broadcasting via television and radio commercials, as w
ell as newspaper and magazine advertisements.
