Brief Description of Company or Organization: University of Dreams was founded in Feburary of 2000 as an internship placement program for college students. The program includes guaranteed intership placement, housing, meal plans, weekend activities/trips, weekly seminars, and daily transportation to and from work. The company has programs for summer, fall and spring internships in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Washington D.C., Barcelona, London, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Costa Rica.
Description of Duties: Campus Marketing Intern's are responsible for all marketing of the University of Dream's programs on their respective campus. I will be working alone and with in a team with four other interns to market and promote the internship program at Indiana University. I will be utlizing student organizations, professor relationships, facebook, email, and so forth, to reach as many prospective students as possible. Specific duties/plans include: flyering, presenting and creating powerpoint presentations, planning call-out meetings, speaking with students in classes and outside about the program, emailing students, etc.
