Brief Description of Company/Organization: This service allows students to not only meet other students, but to also learn about the local businesses and attractions on their campus. Myeasyu.com is a portal where students and professors from like universities can share, sell, buy, post, or barter their goods, older books, and things that would be of value to the population occupying a respective campus.
Brief Description of Responsibilities:
• Assist in the negotiation of contracts for web design, e-commerce, website brand (i.e. logo, slogan)
• Develop content for the body of the website, including icons for navigation and pages for individual organizations, groups, classes.
• Track billable hours of web developer and other vendors used for production and launch of website
• For the launch: plan event, i.e. party, concert) to attract more than 1,000 students to vocation (to be selected by intern) for exposure to branded items (selected by intern)
• Other responsibilities to be assigned by direct report.
• Act and dress appropriately for an office environment.
• Handle incoming phone calls, and email requests for usernames and ID’s for access to website
• Develop comprehensive plan for the future of the website, including potential sale, and at what point to sell assets to maximize revenue generated from advertising through local organizations and businesses.
• Compile contacts generated through this internship into an electronic format for principals of business and/or future business.
• Compile all pictures and profiles into an electric format for easy access and review by future interns.
