Brief Description of Company/Organization: The General Assembly is responsible for enacting the laws that govern Indiana. Specifically the Senate Majority Communications Departments is responsible for major news releases, news conferences, speeches, as well as other areas of communication including audio/radio podcasts and TV.

Brief Description of Responsibilities: As an intern I will be responsible for working within 4 different departments of Communication including E-publications, video/radio, printed publications, and podcasts. All of these involve releases, columns, speeches, photos, and handouts/brochures/newsletters.
I will also be researching past and present legislation and assisting senators in preparing for legislative meetings.
