Brief Description of Company/Organization: Local Radio Station for WBWB B97 and Hoosier Country WHCC 105.5.
Brief Description of Responsibilities: Intern will complete tasks and an education of small market radio. Tasks include, but are not limited to, assisting the business manager, marketing team, web staff, and production team in general operations of each individual department. He/she will be responsible for clerical assistance, front office interaction, working with Cool Edit to produce :30/:60 commercials, working with AudioVault to upload produced commercials and other programming elements, uploading pictures to station website, and maintaining order in the station vehicle.
Description of Other Duties: Intern will also be expected to attend station events and live broadcasts where he/she will be responsible for aiding in the set up of broadcast equipment, interacting with listeners, recruiting sign ups for register to win prizes, and finally helping to repack broadcast equipment into the station vehicle.
