FINA-N 198 Introduction to Photography for Non-Majors (3 cr.) CASE A&H This class is for anyone that wants to get a better handle on their digital single lens reflex (SLR) camera. We will covers basic camera operations, composition, color, lighting, visual communication, and aesthetics with a bit of photo history. We will touch upon the many avenues one might consider pursuing such as journalism, commercial, and fine art photography. The class is a combination of lectures, shooting shooting assignments and projects around campus. We will also discusses new imaging technology. This is not a film and darkroom printing class. A fully manual digital camera is required.
