Three paid positions are available for undergraduate
students to assist in a course, giving written and oral feedback to
international graduate students who are studying to be AIs. The undergraduates
will watch mini-teaching presentations of entry-level material and fill out
rubrics giving feedback from the point of view of an undergraduate student
enrolled in the course. The graduate students are from many different fields on
the IU campus: arts, business, sciences, and math.
In order to participate, you must be available from 4-6 for
one of the two sections; you will be needed for each listed M/W date or T/R
date:
M/W section: October 1, 15, 17,29,
31, November 26, 28
Or
T/R section: October 2, 16, 18, 30,
November 1, 27, 29
There will be a couple of additional hours during final exam
week.
The pay is $11 an hour.
Please tell me the following:
your major(s),
your year in school
what courses you have taken in science and math,
if you are a native English speaker, and if not, how long
you have been speaking English and where you went to high school.
Thank you in advance.
