REQUIRED: Attendance at this callout meeting is required
to attend the trip.
SPEA and the College of Arts & Sciences are
presenting a Career Exploration Trip to Denver Colorado on November 8-9, 2012
(the trip is open to all students). This trip provides excellent educational
and networking opportunities for current students to meet and learn from Denver
professionals in the environmental and energy industries. Denver has the 2nd
largest concentration of federal jobs in the US (Washington DC is the first)
and is an increasingly popular choice for students post-graduation. Through
this trip in 2011, students had the opportunity to speak with 25+ different
organizations in the public, private, and non-profit sectors through career
panels & site visits.
Please note: students are responsible for their own
travel, accommodations, and most meals.
The SPEA Career Development Office will negotiate a reduced rate at a
nearby hotel for attending students.
To find additional information about the trip, visit: http://www.indiana.edu/~spea/career_development/about_us/employer_relations/career_trips/denver.shtml
