An Introductory Course on Border, A Constructed Language

 

What:       A FREE no-credit introductory course where you will join others in being the first to learn and speak a constructed language called BORDER. No official registration necessary–just sign up!

Who will be teaching? 

My name is Destin Hubble and I am a senior here at I.U., majoring in Linguistic Engineering. I’ve spent much of the last two years creating Border and can’t wait to share it with you!

Who will be learning?

ANYONE is welcome! If you love learning languages and are interested in new ways of communicating, this course is for you.

Why:       This course on Border is the capstone project for my individualized major, but for YOU...it can be a shiny new language to learn, an exploration in Linguistic concepts, or maybe even a secret language for you to teach your friends. You’ll also be awarded a FREE T-SHIRT and certificate!

When:    1:00-2:15M, W, F  Feb. 4 - Mar. 1, 2013 (the second 4 weeks of the semester) Free snacks to curb your appetite!

Where:   Global Village (Foster Quad) room FQ012A.
