Social Media/Publicity Intern
Top indie film distributor looking for self-starting,
motivated individuals who live and breathe all types of film!
You will be assisting the Social Media/Publicity Coordinator with west coast publicity and social marketing work while learning the inner-workings of interactive marketing, social media strategizing, and national publicity in the arena independent film.
The internship will have you working directly on many of our upcoming and previously released titles.
You will be working hands-on at our red carpet premieres and press days, as well as supporting the VP of Publicity, VP of Marketing, and Social Marketing/Publicity Coordinator with research and other basic duties, including:
-Learning how to craft copy and pick engaging media for Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr/Pinterst/other social media platforms
-Learning how to manage and run an interactive and social marketing campaign for film using new media
-Opportunity to work on various Hollywood red carpet movie premieres, with high profile, A-list celebrity guests
-Attend and help to coordinate a press day with members of the national media attending
