Campus MovieFest is back at IU!

My name is J.R. Hardman, and I'm writing you on behalf of Campus MovieFest (CMF), the world's largest student film festival. We travel to over 75 campuses across the U.S. (including Indiana University) giving students the opportunity to make their own 5-minute movies in a week. 

 

Students who don't have their own equipment can borrow an Apple laptop with iMovie, Final Cut and Adobe Premiere editing software and a Panasonic HD camera for free. They also have the opportunity to see their movie on the big screen and compete for prizes and national exposure.

 

We are really excited to be back at IU for a 5th year, and we're working hard with the help of INSCG and BCEC to get the word out to as many students, faculty and staff members as possible to let them know that they are eligible to participate in CMF.

 

We're especially excited because a team from IU won the Best Comedy Award at our national competition, CMF Hollywood, last year with their film "Man Crush". The whole team came out to Hollywood to see their movie screen on the Universal Studios Backlot and accept their award. You can watch their movie online here:

Students have until this Wednesday, March 20th to sign up to participate in CMF on the IU page on our website at www.campusmoviefest.com/iu and we would really appreciate it if you could let your students know about the opportunity. I've included several details below that can be forwarded to students.
