Interested Writers and
Editors:
Hello!
My name is Hayleigh
Elmore, and I'm the Editor-in-Chief of the 2014 Arbutus yearbook. If you like
writing stories, editing, taking pictures, or graphic designing, the Arbutus
yearbook could be perfect for you! We have positions for staff and contributing
writers, section editors, and photographers. Most positions are paid. There's
no need for you to be a journalism major to participate! In fact, I'm not a
journalism major, and neither are half of the current staff members! Please
fill out an application if you are interested. Though I have attached an copy
of the application, additional copies are available by the Arbutus/Inside
Office of the journalism school or from Ron Johnson, director of Student Media.
These applications are due next Wednesday, April 17th by 3 pm. Interviews will
be held the next week, April 22-26. I look forward to getting to know you! Our
IU Student Media could really benefit from your expertise! If you cannot
return the completed application to the Journalism school itself, you may email
