National Association of Black Journalists Student Chapter

Recently a student named Ashlee Green contacted me and expressed an interest in starting an IU student chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). The NABJ is the nation's largest organization of journalist of color. It was founded in 1975 by 44 men and women who considered the organization to be a valuable resource in communications and networking not only throughout the African-American community, but throughout the entire country. For more information about the organization, please go to http://www.nabj.org/.

Ashlee needs to know whether interest in the organization is high enough at IU to warrant the creation of a student chapter here. If you would be interested in joining this organization, please contact Ashlee at asngreen@indiana.edu.
